Compared with glucose oxidase (GOD), GDH-FAD could avoid interference from blood oxygen variation. Because of this advantage, GDH-FAD strip could be applied on most of blood sample from capillary, artery, vein and AST.

Meanwhile, TaiDoc GDH-FAD strip could prevent from maltose and galactose interference in blood samples. By contrast, pyrroloquinoline quinone glucose dehydrogenase (GDH-PQQ) could give inaccurate glucose reading with patients undergoing intravenous drip solutions containing maltose.
